SDG11 Poster: Sustainable Cities and Communities - by Sylvie Ravetti + Christine Luetscher

Rubbing shoulders with words using tools made of wood and lead. Composing a space, combining solids and voids. Playing with constraints. Giving new life to what already exists. Accepting imperfection. This poster was composed and printed in a 70x100 cm format using letterpress with the help of the Le Cadratin workshop. Reworked and then printed on the Koenig & Bauer Rapida 106x press at Courvoisier-Gassmann SA on Genesis White FSC paper. Just like the poster, the sustainable city is a project. Environment, density, diversity, local governance, mobility, culture. Finding balance. Living together. Thinking about the city on a neighborhood scale. Green for residents, dense and efficient for technicians. Searching for a common language. Superposition, co-construction.
